the product of two consecutive integers is
9 less than 9 times their sum.
find the integers
-----------------------
1st: x
2nd: x+1
-----------------
Equation:
x(x+1) = 9(x+ x+1)-9
---
x^2+x = 9(2x+1)-9
---
x^2+x = 18x
x^2-17x = 0
x(x-17) = 0
x = 0 or x = 17
------
If x = 0, x+1 = 1
If x = 17, x+1 = 18
