Question 341488: If the sum of five consecutive odd integers is k, which of the following could be a value of k?
I. 0
II. -1
III. -5
(A) I only
(B) II only
(C) III only
(D) I and III only
(E) II and III only
Answer is (C) but I don't know why. If I add -3, -1, 0, 1, 3 together, the answer should be 0. I tried other consective numbers but nothing worked.
Help please

That was my 1st thought also, but 0 is not an odd integer. Whether it's an even integer is debatable.
That leaves C
