Odd number plus an odd number equals an even number.
Example:
An even number is always 1 more than an odd number.
Example:
So when you add two odd numbers, you are really adding an odd number plus 1 plus another odd number plus 1.
Odd number plus an odd number is even, as you saw from above.
An even number plus 2 is an even number.
Example:
So an even number plus an even number equals an even number.
