= (x + a)*(x - b)
You need to find 2 numbers a & b that multiply to 84 and add to -5.
Since 5 is odd and 84 is even, one number will be odd and one even.

Look at the factors of 84:
1*84
2*42 (both even)
3*28
4*21
6*14 (both even)
7*12
-------
Check the pairs for the difference.
Only the last pair differs by 5.
You finish it.
