Question 23412: HI, i am so confused with one of my Algebra problems. Help would be greatly appreciated!! Here is the problem: Find two consecutive positive odd integers whose product is 143. Please help!! this assignment is due tommorrow and i am so worried i'm gonna fail!! Thanks so much!!

Odd integers = x and x+2
(x)(x+2)=143

Use Quadratic Formula:
a=1, b=2, c=-143

Add:
x=11
11+2=13
Hence the two consective integers are 11 and 13.
