Twice the lesser of two consecutive odd integers decreased by the greater integer is 53. What are the integers?
------------------------------------------
Lesser: 2x-1
Larger: 2x+1
-------------------
Equation:
2(2x-1)-(2x+1) = 53
4x-2-2x-1 = 53
2x-3 = 53
2x = 56
--------------
Lesser: 2x-1 = 55
Larger: 2x+1 = 57
