ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT INFORMATION FOR THIS PROBLEM??????
LET X & (X+2) BE THE 2 CONSECUTIVE INTEGERS.
2X+4(X+2)=126
2X+4X+8=126
6X=126-8
6X=118
X=118/6
X=19.66667
X+2=21.66667
PROOF
2*19.66667+4*21.66667=126
39.33333+86.66667=126
126=126
