Question 1169596: the length of a rectangle room is 2 feet more than three times the width. the perimeter of the room is 84 feet. find the dimensions of the room.
Answer by VFBundy(438) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Width = w
Length = 3w + 2
2(w) + 2(3w + 2) = 84
2w + 6w + 4 = 84
8w + 4 = 84
8w = 80
w = 10
Width = w = 10
Length = 3w + 2 = 30 + 2 = 32
