-2(x + x + 6) = -(x + 4) - 20
-2x + -2x + 6 = -x - 4 - 20
-4x + 6 = -x - -16
+x +x
-3x + 6 = -16
- 6 -6
-3x = -22
divide both sides by -3
x = 7.33
