            It is VERY STANDARD problem. 


J - A =  5
J + A = 63.
---------------------------Add the equations to get

2J = 5 + 63 = 68  ====>  J =  = 34.


Substitute J= 34 into either of the two original equations to get  A = 29.


Answer.  A is 29 years old;  J is 34 years old.

         In 5 years A will be 34 years old.
