        The correct answer consists of these two statements: 

    1.  The problem HAS NO solutions in consecutive  odd integer numbers;

and

    2.  There are NO such two consecutive odd integer numbers whose sum is 46.


Indeed,  n + (n+2) = 46  implies  2n = 46- 2,  or 2n = 44,  n = = 22,  which is EVEN  integer number.
