1st:: 2x-1
2nd:: 2x+1

Equation::
2x-1 + 2x+1 = 6(2x-1) - 2

4x = 12x - 6 - 2

8x = 8
----
x = 1

1st 2x-1 = 2*1-1 = 1
2nd:: 2x+1 = 2*1+1 = 3
