Make width = x
Length = (4x + 9)
Area = Width x Length
198 = x(4x + 9)
198 = 4x^2 + 9x
4x^2 + 9x - 198 = 0
(4x + 33)(x - 6) = 0
4x + 33 = 0
4x = -33
x = -33/4 (Disregard as negative)
x - 6 = 0
x = 6
Width = 6 cm
Length = 33 cm
Area = 6 x 33 = 198 cm^2
