Question 995597: How do I work this problem? Help Please.
There is a 0.88 probability that math students will correctly follow all instructions on the Final Exam. What is the probability that exactly 88 of the 100 students taking math in a particular term correctly follow all Final Exam instructions? Round answer to the nearest ten thousandth (four places after decimal).
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It is 100C88(0.88)^88(0.12)^12. There are 100C88 different ways 88 students can occur.
This is 0.1219
On the calculator, it is 100MATH,prb,3 (nCr),88 ENTER
Then that very large number is multiplied by the raised powers of the other two.
