probability that miss calzonetti checks is 3/5.
probability that harold doesn't do his homework is 1 - 3/4 = 1/4.
the probability that miss calzonetti checks and harold doesn't do his homework is 3/5 * 1/4 = 3/20.

these are assumed to be two independent events.
the probability of both occurring at the same time is therefore p(a) * p(b).
p(a) is the probability she checks.
p(b) is the probability he doesn't do his homework.
