There are 26 red cards in a deck of playing cards
There is a total of 52 cards in a deck of playing cards
The probability of an outcome = Number of ways the outcome can happen/total number
of possible outcomes
Therefore the probability of getting a red card
= 26/52 = 1/2
so the probability is a 1 in 2 chance.
Hope this helps:-)
