Question 948343: If a certain parking lot contains 200 cars, 50% of the cars are red, 60% are four door cars, and 70 percent have alloy rims. What is the greatest number of cars in the parking lot that could be green two door cars with alloy rims?
Answer by macston(5194)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Of 200 cars, 50% red leaving 50%, or 100, that could be green.
Of 200 cars, 60% are 4 door, leaving 40%, or 80, that are 2 door.
Of 200 cars 70% , or 140, have alloy rims.
Out of these, with no other restrictions, the second would be the most limiting factor, so at most 80 cars could be green two-door cars with alloy wheels.
