How do i calculate the probability that at least 3 exams out of 7 being taken will be passed?
-----
You have to know the probability that one of the
exams will be passed; and you have to assume
that probability holds for each of the exams.
---
Then P(x = 3) = 7C3*p^3*(1-p)^4
