Question 933455: Suppose a researcher is studying a population that has a mean of µ = 38.6 and a standard deviation of = 1.1. Round your answer to the nearest thousandth if needed.
The researcher studies a simple random sample of size n = 200. According to the central limit theorem, what is the approximate standard deviation of the sampling distribution of the mean?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SE = standard error = standard deviation of the sampling distribution
Use a calculator here. This is approximate.
Round to the nearest thousandth
The answer is approximately 0.078
