Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 2 cards are dealt from the standard deck, what is the probability of getting all cards the same suit?
-------
# of ways to succeed::
# of suits:: 4
# you want from one of the suits:: 13C2
Therefore, # of ways to succeed:: 4*13C2 = 4*(78) = 312
---
# of possible pairs from the deck:: 52C2 = 1326
----
P(2 cards of same suit) = 312/1326 = 0.2353
