If the child is in 3rd grade, what is possibility they passed the exam?
(Is the answer 56/200 = .38? That is what I calculated.
If the child passed the exam, what is the probability they are in the 3rd grade? (got 56/173 = .32. Is that right?) Please help and Thank you!!

Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the child is in 3rd grade, then probability that the child passed is
Pr = 56/68 = 0.82
If the child passed the exam, what is the probability they are in the 3rd grade?
Pr = 56/173 = 0.32
