A bag contains 12 colored balls, each ball being either black or white. The probability of drawing a white ball twice with replacement is 1/16. How many white balls are in the bag?
------------
1/16 = (1/p)*(1/p) with replacement
1/p = 1/4
1/4 of 12 = 3 white balls
