The question is: If I were to randomly select 1 of the 25 individuals in your survey, what is the probability that:
The person shares your shoe size, given that they are shorter than you.
From my surveyed data 17 people are shorter.
My denominator answer is correct with 17. But I don't know what my numerator is.

The numerator is the number of people who share your shoe size and who are shorter than you.
