Quote #1: four 17�-monitors and six 19�-monitors for $2300
Quote #2: six 17�-monitors and four 19�-monitors for $2200
What are the prices for a single 17�-monitor and a single 19�-monitor?

Let cost of a 19" monitor be n
EQUATION:
4s + 6n = 2300
6s + 4n = 2200
------------------
Multiply 1st by 3 to get:
12s + 18n = 6900
Multiply 2nd by 2 to get:
12s + 8n = 4400
---------------
Subtract one from the other to get:
10n = 1500
n = $150 (price of a 19" monitor)

Substitute in 4s+6n = 2300 to solve for s:
4s + 6*150 = 2300
4s = 2300 - 900
4s = 1400
s = $350 (price of a 17" monitor)
