Question 852129: A standardized IQ test provides a normal distribution of scores with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15 if a score was selected at random from all the people who have taken the test, which probability would be greater: selecting a score of less than 95 or selecting a score greater that 110? why?

Hi,
Note:
P(x>110)= 0r 25.25%
P(x < 95) = = 0r 37%
z = -.3333 and z = .6667 are on Opposite Extremes on the Bell shaped curve, z = 0 in the middle
z = -.3333 shows a Greater Area under the Curve to the Left than z = .6667 does to the right as the Probabilities show
