Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The greatest common divisor of 48,12, and 18 is 6
----------
If 6 groups; 8 students in a group ; 2 card decks in each grp ; 3 pair of dice
If 3 groups; 16 students in a grp ; 4 card decks in each grp ; 2 pair of dice
If 2 groups; 24 students in a grp ; 6 card decks in each grp ; 9 pair of dice
============
Note that 2 and 3 are factors of six, the gcd of 48,12, and 18.
Cheers,
Stan H.
