Question 776847: 1.) A card is drawn from a regular deck of cards. What is the probability that it is a heart?
2.) A coin is tossed twice. What is the probability that both tosses result in a head or heads?
3.) A coin will be tossed 100 times. About how many heads do you expect?

Answer by FrankM(1040)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) there are four suits, so the chance of the drawn card being a heart is 1/4
2) The chance of a head on each roll is 1/2, so for both tosses to be heads it's 1/4. (Both tails, 1/4, and one head one tail, 1/2)
3) We expect about 50, although precisely 50 would be a bit less common.
