They can fall any of these 16 ways.

(2,2) (2,3) (2,4), (2,5)

(3,2) (3,3) (3,4), (3,5)

(4,2) (4,3) (4,4), (4,5)

(5,2) (5,3) (5,4), (5,5)

The ones that have sum 7 are in red.  There are 4 of them.

So the probability is 4 out of 16 or  or .
