Suppose that the length of a telephone call (in minutes) is uniformly distributed between 0 and 70 minutes.
Find the probability that the call lasts between 2 and 38 minutes.
-----
A uniform distribution has a rectangular shape with area = 1.
----
base width = 70
So, height = (1/70)
--------
Area over the interval 2 to 38 is 36 wide
----
Area above that interval is 36*(1/70) = 0.5143
