Question 718659: Ok so the problem asks to look at the following discrete probability distribution for home runs per game.
The chart is as follows
number of home runs probability
0 39%
1 31%
2 22%
3 6%
4 2%
The first question is what is the probability more than 2 home runs were scored in a game?
So I wrote 8% because it wants to know more then 2 so I don't think you include 2 so I added 3 and 4 home runs and got that percentage???
What is the probability at least one home run was scored in a game?
For this one it was tricky because I was not sure if you include 0 and 1 or if you just include 1???
What is the probability at most 3 home run were scored in a game?
For that one I put 98% because I added the percentages for 0 1 2 3 but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to include 3 in that problem??
Please Help
