Question 718018: thank you for looking at this: You flip a coin three times. (a) What is the probability of getting heads on only one of your flips? (b) What is the probability of getting heads on at least one flip?
my answer to the first one was (a) is .875 or 1/8
i didn't understand the question being asked twice since they both are 7/8
i don't understand "on only one of your flips" being different from "at least one flip"
also how i found my answer was by taking the probability of not getting a head
(1/2)(1/2)(1/2) =.125 or 1/8 so 7/8 is my final answer
