Using the digits in {0,1,2,3,4,6} 3 digit numbers are formed and put in a box. A number is selected ramdomly.
Find the probability that it is even if
a. Repetition is allowed
The number will be even if the units digit is even
# of ways to succeed: 6*7*3 = 126
# of possible outcomes: 6*7*7 = 294
---
P(3-digit even with repetition) = 126/294 = 0.4286
----------
b. Repetition is not allowed
# of ways to succeed: 6*7*4 = 168
E of possible outcomes: 6*6*4 = 180
P(3-digit even without repetition) = 0.93
