A five-member student committee is to be selected from 12 students.

Ans: 12C4 = (12*11*10*9)/(1*2*3*4) = 495
----------------------------------------------
b) What is the probability that Joyce, Jasmine, Jessica and Clifford (not in any order) are members of the committee?
Only one group of 4 contains all of those folks.
Ans: 1/495
--------------------
c) What is the probability that Joyce, Jasmine, Jessica and Clifford (in that given order) are members of the committee?
# of orders of length 4: 12P4 = 12!/(8!) = 12*11*10*9 = 11880
---
Ans: P(1/11880)
