A sample of 42 drivers on the morning shift indicated that they spent on the average 9.7 hours covering their routes. The standard deviation was 1.2 hours. A survey of 58 drivers on the afternoon shift found that drivers required 8.3 hours with a standard deviation of 1.6 hours to cover the same rounts as the morning dirvers. The bus company wants the result to be 95% accurate.
