Question 654377: A drawer contains 4 purple socks, 3 white socks, and 3 pink socks. Without looking, you select a sock at random, replace it, and select a second sock at random. What is the probability that the first sock is pink and the second sock is purple?
Answer by schmidtmomto6(24)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Take the first probability times the second probability. The first would be 3/10 and the second would be 4/10. So, the probability would be 12/20, or reduce to 3/5. Or 60%. =)
