Question 631456: Given a binomial distribution with n = 21 and p = 0.77, would the normal distribution provide a reasonable approximation? Why or why not?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 Hint: Compute np and n(1-p)
If you find that both are greater than 5, then the normal distribution provides a reasonable approximation.
