Question 618569: what's the probability of getting 3 of the last 5 questions right out of 25 questions when I know 20 answers total?
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to know the probability of getting
one of those 5 answers right. If it true/false
the prob is 1/2; if it's multiple choice with
4 possible answers, prob = 1/4.
---
Then use P(x = 3) = 5C3*p^3*q^2 to get the
prob of getting 3 right.
