A Math test has a mean of 41 and standard deviation of 12.0. Find the corresponding z scores for:
I. a test score of 35
II. a test score of 69
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
z-score is equal to (actual score minus the mean) divided by (standard deviation)
mean is 41
standard deviation is 12
I. a test score of 35
(35-41)/12 = -6/12 = -.5
II. a test score of 69
(69-41)/12 = 28/12 = 2.33333333
