Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
make a list of all the combinations 2 dice can yield. There are 36 possibilities
then see how many of them total to 6
the odds are however many total to 6 divided by 36
1+1 = 2
1+2 = 3
1+3 = 4
1+4 = 5
1+5 = 6 <-= hey we got one
1+6 = 7
2+1 = 3
2+2 = 4 and so on
....
6+3 = 9
6+4 = 10
6+5 = 11
6+6 = 12
