Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a person is selected at random, compute the probability that his/her birthday does not fall in March and also does not fall on the 16th of any month.
-----
There are 31 days in March.
There are 11 other days that are the 16 of a month.
That makes 42 day on which the birthday CANNOT fall.
That means the birthday can fall on 365-42 = 323 days
----
P(required condition) = 323/365
