�Choose and calculate the appropriate analysis to compare the anxiety levels of the participants in the CBT treatment to those in the psychodynamic treatment using posttest scores only.
�Choose and calculate the appropriate analysis to compare the anxiety levels of participants in the CBT group only at pre- and posttest.
Here is the information in order to do the calculations:
SubjectID.....Pre-RCMAS....Post-RCMAS

Okay I have to use either independent t-tests or paired t-tests or one sample t-test in order to complete this assignment. I have to show all work inlcuding all calculations. The Subject ID is not important. I need help I have no idea on how to to this please help.

Here is the information in order to do the calculations:

The data sets are dependent because the Pre and Post numbers
relate to the same tested person.

Ha: u(diff)# 0

sample mean: mean of the differences = -11.5
std of the diffs: 6.442

test statistic: t(-11.5) = -11.5/[6.442/sqrt(8)] = -5.049
---
p-value = 2*P(t<-5.049 when df = 7) = 2*cdf(-100,-5.049,7) = 0.0015
Conclusion: Since the p value is less than 5%, reject Ho.
The test results support Ha.

Note: Your problem says to use only the Post-RCMAS data for
the testing. I don't know of anyway to test data against itself.
