I need help with a probability question;
A student is taking 2 courses, History and Math.
The probability of passing History is .60 and Math.70., both .50.
What is the probability of passing at least 1?

P(pass at least 1) = 1 - P(fail both)
= 1 - 0.4*0.7
---
= 1 - 0.28
---
= 0.72
