determine the mean, median, mode, and midrange of the set of data. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.

40, 50, 30, 60, 90, 100, 140

Answer by MathLover1(20849)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

First, order the data from small to largest values:
30, 40, 50, 60, 90, 100, 140
Mean is average: sum all and divide by # of data

Median is middle value of the sorted numbers (in case of even #, average of two middle values)

Mode is the number that occurs most frequently.
Midrange is the average of the min and max.
