Question 476532: Three numbers are selected from a box containing each of the numbers 1 through 10 with replacement. What is the probability that the sum of the three numbers will be greater than 28?
Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Number greater than 28, it means 29 and 30.
possible ways are (9,10,10), (10,9,10),(10,10,9) and (10,10,10).
we can select it by only 4 ways.
number of all possible ways to select 3 numbers = 10*10*10= 1000
probability = 4/1000 = 1/250
