Hi,
Note: P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B)
10 golfers , 6 of them are girls
2 of the girls are over 40 , 3 of the men are over 40 .
P(girl or over 40) = 6/10 + 5/10 - 2/10 = 9/10
