It was found that the standard deviation of the sound levels from 20 area designated as casualty doors was 4.1 dba and the standard devaiton of 24 areas desinated as operating theaters was 7.5 dba. At X=.05 can you substanitate the claim that there is a difference in the standard deviations?

I ran an F-test on the data and got the following:
test statistic: F = 0.2988
p-value = -.0097
---
Conclusion: Since the p-value is less than 5%, reject Ho.
The test results support the claim.
