A simple dartboard has three areas... the main board has a radius of 11 inches, there is a circle with a radius of 5 inches, and the bullseye has a radius of 3 inches. What is the probability of a random dart landing inside the bullseye? Round to the nearest thousandth..(hint: use A=pir^2)
-------------------
Main board area: pi*11^2 = 121pi sq in
----
Circle area: pi*5^2 = 25pi sq in
----
Bullseye area = pi*3^2 = 9pi sq in
--------------------
P(dart in bullseye) = 9pi/121p = 9/121
