Richard spent 21.2% of his savings account during the summer and now has $6,030.72 remaining in the account. What was the amount in his savings account at the beginning of the summer? Please show all work.

Richard spent 21.2% of his savings account, that means there is 100-21.2=78.8% of his account left: 78.8%(x)=6030.72
x=6030.72/.788=$7653.20..
