A proposition is something that is being stated that can be proven.
A) If I ask you, are you going to the fair? You could say yes, and then not go cause it rained or something. So that is not a proposition.
B) That Ferris Wheel is 200 ft high is a simple proposition. That Ferris Wheel weighs 22 tons is a simple proposition. These are quantitative things that can be proven. Since the two are being combined, the statement as a whole is compound.
C) Everyone loves the Ferris Wheel. Can you prove that everyone loves the Ferris Wheel? Is this just your own opinion? Because of these uncertainties, it is a non-proposition.
D) I get sick on the roundup. This is stating that in the past you have gotten sick on the roundup. Since this has already happened, it obviously can be proven. This is a proposition.
