Let's pretend that the Lakers played 200 games in the 1st 1/2 of the season and that they won 100 and lost 100.
To raise their winning pct by 55% they would have to win 155 games and lose 45.
155/200=.775 percentage of the remaining half must win to increase the winning by 55%.
